1. The purpose of SIA Welkom is to provide accommodation and food services to guests. Thereby,
SIA Welkom respects your privacy and undertakes to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter - Privacy Policy).The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide you with information on the purpose for which SIA Welkom obtains personal data, data volumes and data processing deadlines, data protection, and informs you about your rights and obligations.

Purposes for the processing of personal data and data types
7.Welkom Ltd processes the following personal data for the following purposes:
7.1. Customer's name, surname, personal identification number, document (passport or ID card) number and expiration date, e-mail address, telephone number, signature and video record in hotel's public premises. For hotel accountancy purposes, for communication purposes and marketing purposes.
7.2. Carry out business activities; verify the client's identity prior to entering into a contract; to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations; eliminate financial risks; keep customer applications and submissions for different services including those made orally, by calling, by e-mail, on the homepage, etc.

Processing, protection and storage of personal data
13. For the protection of your personal data, SIA Welkom uses various technical and organizational security measures. Your personal data is stored on a secured server and is accessible to a limited number of people, only to authorized persons.
14. The recipients of your personal data are SIA Welkom; Baltic Hospitality & Retail Systems OÜ, The Rocket Science Group LLC, as well as supervisory authorities that request your personal data in the cases and in accordance with the procedures specified in the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia.
15. The length of time the personal data will be stored - 3 years.
16. The provisions of the internal information systems of the Baltic Hospitality & Retail Systems OÜ are set out in Appendix 2 to the GDPR Handling Contract.
17. Any person has the right at any time to withdraw the consent for the processing of data in which case further processing of the data based on the prior consent for the particular purpose will not be performed.
In the event of a conflict situation, personal data will be stored for as long as necessary to resolve the situation.
18. All information necessary for the fulfillment of the legal obligation attributable to SIA Welkom shall be kept for as long as necessary for the purpose of the processing of personal data in accordance with applicable regulatory authorization.
19. For determining the period of storage of personal data, the following criteria are used:
19.1. While in the manner prescribed by external regulatory enactments you or SIA Welkom can realize your legitimate interests (for example, examining claims, protecting rights, resolving issues, pursuing a lawsuit or compliance with a limitation period, etc.);
