RED OR WHITE? HUNGARIAN WINE EXPO AT THE GALLERY PARK HOTEL & SPA
Everything with a beginning has an end, but this one left a wine taste behind.
The Gallery Park Hotel & SPA in cooperation with the Embassy of Hungary in Latvia and wine bar "Vieta" offered a fantastic opportunity to taste Hungarian wines in the exquisite atmosphere of the hotel.
Up to 100 different wines from various wineries, such as Patricius, Haraszthy, Tóth Ferenc, St. Andrea, Pfneiszl, Garamvári Szőlőbirtok and other, were presented during the first day of the Hungarian Wine Expo at the Gallery Park Hotel & SPA.
The Hungarian fine-wines masterclass on the second day was a great opportunity for all the wine lovers to expand their knowledge about Hungarian wines and its global achievements. The Ornellaia wine by Tibora Gala which has been awarded "The wine of the Year 2001" by "Wine Spectator" is one of them. The masterclass was led by the experienced Master of Wine Frank Smulders MW and Janis Volkinsteins, the sommelier of the wine bar "Vieta".
