EASTER TRADITIONAL PASKHA FROM RESTAURANT RENOMME!
Treat yourself and your guests with restaurant Renomme Easter Paskha recipe - a real culinary pleasure during your Easter holidays.
Ingredients:
1,6 kg cream cheese (4 packages)
200 g butter
3 egg yolks
2 cups (400 ml) of powder sugar
¾ a cup chopped lemon peel
2 tea spoons vanilla sugar
¾ toasted almond nuts
300 g raisin
200g dry fruit
To prepare: Recommended to prepare one day before Easter to let it rest!
All ingredients - cream cheese, butter, egg yolks have to stand at room temperature for at least 2 hours.
1. Place cream cheese in the bowl & blender at lowest speed. At the same time add butter, sugar and egg yolks slowly and partially. Blend all together.
2. Add partially and slowly lemon peel, almonds and dry fruit.
3. When all ingredients are added, pick a deeper bowl (a nice flower pot will also do!).
4. Moist the cheese cloth in cold water and line it into the bowl or flower pot.
5. Spoon cheese mixture into the pot and cover the top with plastic wrap.
6. Put some weight on the top (kitchen „stones” will be perfect for that).
7. Refrigerate it overnight.
8. To unmold trim and gently remove the cheese cloth . Insert on desert plate and Paskha is ready!
